King Charles and Prince Harry could take another step toward repairing their broken relationship when the Duke of Sussex visits next week.

Harry will travel to the UK to give a reading at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8 for a special service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Royal expert Tom Quinn believes he will make time to visit his father after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Quinn said: “It’s going to be very difficult for Harry to come to the UK and not visit his stricken father, King Charles.” He also thinks the two men will have a longer meeting than during Harry’s last visit.

Harry rushed to London in February after Charles’ cancer diagnosis was made public. It was the first time Harry had seen his father in months, but their reunion would only last 30 minutes.

Harry added: “My family and my life in California is as it is. I have other trips planned. It would take me across the UK or to the UK, so you know, I’ll stop and see my family as much as I can.”
