Hundreds take part in Luv FM/Telecel walk in Kumasi – .

Kumasi city was filled with infectious energy on Saturday morning as hundreds of people gathered for the Luv FM/Telecel Walk.

The event, organized by Luv FM and Telecel Ghana, aimed to encourage the and well-being of residents of the bustling metropolis and its environs.

The participants left Kumasi City Mall early, brimming with enthusiasm and determination.

Among them were families, friends, corporate teams and individuals sharing the common goal of improving their overall fitness and enjoying the good weather.

The walk started from Kumasi City Mall to Nhyieso and Adum. The participants then descended to Asafo, Amakom via Baba Yara Sports Stadium and returned to the mall.

The nine-kilometer walk met expectations with activities including aerobics and health screenings.

As they walked through the picturesque streets, every step taken by the energetic crowd seemed to be a testament to their resilience and passion for personal development.

“I’m so excited to be here once again. This is my fourth time participating in the walk and I am so excited. Luv FM has done incredibly well in organizing this during this time of economic stress,” said one participant.

At every turn there was laughter, camaraderie and encouragement, proving once again why this event had become so beloved by Luv FM listeners.

“When it comes to health walks in Kumasi, I will say that Luv FM stands out in organizing them. I was here a few months ago and I am here again with my family enjoying the ride,” an enthusiastic participant told Joynews.

Meanwhile, the main sponsor, Telecel Ghana, seeks to connect with its customers through the health walk.

The Executive Director of Ashanti and Bono Telecel, Kwaku Aseidu, told JoyNews how he intends to reach customers.

“As a brand that wants to associate itself with success, we thought it was wise to headline this event, especially after our rebrand to show ourselves to our customers.”

With another successful fitness walk, plans for the next edition have started swirling in the minds of the participants who are already looking forward to continuing their fitness journey.

“I can’t wait to be here next time with my family after such a wonderful walk today. Luv FM should continue this event and even expand it in the coming years,” added a participant.
