fans fed up with one player despite 4-2 win over Tottenham

fans have had enough of ONE player despite beating Tottenham 4-2.

Liverpool got back into the Premier League win column by beating Spurs 4-2 at Anfield on Sunday.

Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott all got on the scoresheet as the Reds secured three points.

Even though Liverpool won, fans online took aim at Darwin Nunez, who entered the fray in the second half.

Nunez replaced Luis Diaz and was unable to make much of an impression as fans lamented his lackluster performance.

He missed a chance at the break and was flagged offside when he served Salah.

His performance angered Liverpool fans on social media as they made their feelings known.

An X user wrote: “Darwin Nunez. Patience slowly begins to wear thin. »

A second tweeted: “60 seconds sums up Darwin Nunez. He completely wastes a 2-on-1 break, then, even though he plays the right pass, he’s offside on another.”

A third criticized: “Uncomfortable conversations need to be had about Darwin Nunez, he cost us in the run up, he can’t stay out and hasn’t delivered on his promise as a striker of £75 million, he just doesn’t fit in, it’s time to do it.” get rid of it.”

A fourth added: “I no longer rate Darwin Nunez. I was wrong about him.”

Another commented: “I’m not letting Darwin Nunez ruin what was a great performance until he arrived.”

Nunez has made 51 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 18 goals.

He has 11 league goals to his name this campaign, as some fans remain unconvinced by their £85million striker.
